What is Organization Readiness?

This is a service to identify areas within an organisation that impact on performance when executing services relating to a capital spend program. All organisations experience a plateau in effectiveness and readiness from time to time, due to corporate culture, leadership change, regulatory requirements, adherence to historic processes, or other reasons. Outsourcing is not always the solution, as it may be difficult to transfer risk and responsibility, and the organisation’s culture may prohibit this from being effective. This may be a consultant, contracting, corporate client or government department, the principles are the same, but the underlying issues are likely to be very different.

 

Starting with a discovery phase Questant is able to quickly understand the dynamics and factors that could be the subjects for improvement, prioritize them and develop a proof of concept to show the likely result from implementation., using parametric, simulation and industry benchmarking. Example areas identified for clients include identifying and treating risks and issues; integration of BIM processes; project scoping, value management and budget development processes; schedule responsibility; creation of Centres of Excellence; identification and integration of an ERP or project control system; staff engagement with business success; procurement strategy improvements, and many more. Usually improvements are incremental, but must be backed by process design and mapping, responsibility identification, testing and training.
