Aspiron is led by Jonathan Lance and Anu Lance, both US citizens of Indian descent, currently based in New Delhi, India.
Jonathan Lance, MRICS assists clients with deal sourcing, managing due diligence, development and implementation of business strategy, post-merger business integration, business development and streamlining of operations. Prior to starting Aspiron in India, he advised clients on market entry into India in the real estate, green technology and non-profit sectors as an independent advisor. Before that he worked at Banc of America Securities, where he successfully started two business units and worked on post-merger integration with FleetBoston Financial. Before that he worked at Merrill Lynch and First Chicago (now JPMorgan) in corporate finance and capital markets. Jonathan has an M.B.A. from University of Wisconsin and a Masters in Real Estate Development from New York University.
Anu Lance assists clients with development and implementation of business strategy, mergers and acquisitions, managing due diligence, business development and streamlining of operations. Prior to working at Aspiron, she worked as an independent consultant in the United States advising clients on the commercial feasibility of new technologies and as an investor in early stage companies in technology, retail and consumer product sectors. Before that she worked with Salomon Smith Barney in mergers and acquisition advisory and private equity fundraising. She has also worked extensively in operations, and business strategy development and implementation in the manufacturing sector in India. She has a keen interest in start-ups and is an angel investor with Golden Seeds LLC in New York. Anu has an M.S. in Chemistry from University of Cincinnati and an M.B.A. from The Anderson School at UCLA.
Veritas, Nassau, Bahamas
VERITAS Consultants Limited (“VCL” or “the Company”) is a full service Construction Services and Project Management Company located in Nassau, Bahamas. The Company was formed in 2000 and has experienced rapid growth with revenues increasing by more than 100% each year. To date the Company has managed projects ranging from less than one hundred thousand dollars to projects worth millions of dollars.
Construction Management and Consulting is the Company’s primary service and involves Veritas’ project managers overseeing construction projects on behalf of a project owner(s). The Company also assists entities in initiating their construction projects by assembling project design and planning teams, and providing a structure to manage project preliminaries. These construction services contribute to a significant part of the Company’s offering.
John-Michael Clarke, MRICS, PMP is the Co-Founder and President of Veritas. Mr. Clarke has a Masters Degree in Engineering from Howard University, Washington D.C., and worked as a Project Manager for two of the largest Bahamian owned Construction Companies. Mr. Clarke has been involved in the construction industry for almost twenty years in various administrative capacities, and has managed more than one hundred million dollars worth of construction projects during his career. Mr. Clarke has also served as a lecturer at the College of the Bahamas and has authored and administered seminars and training programs at at VCL. Mr. Clarke is primarily responsible for Business Development and Expansion, and he is presently solely responsible for the Land and Business Development Portfolios at VCL. Mr. Clarke has spearheaded the development and implementation of Construction Management procedures and methods used at VCL.
